1. Definitions

• "Wayfinder Nook", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Wayfinder Nook, registered in Malaysia, operating at 532, Block A, Kelana Centre Point, Jalan SS7/19, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
• "Website" — the website accessible at wayfindernno.top and all its pages.
• "Service" — the citizen assistance sessions, programmes, and orientation services offered by Wayfinder Nook, including the One-to-One Wayfinding Session, Youth Civic Basics Programme, and Newcomer Orientation for Employers.
• "User", "you" — any individual or organisation accessing the Website or engaging our Services.
• "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this Website or booking a Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or acting with parental or guardian consent for the Youth Civic Basics Programme), that you have read and understood these terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or book a Service.

3. Description of services

Wayfinder Nook provides general information and orientation support to help individuals and organisations navigate everyday public services in Malaysia. Our services include:

• One-to-One Wayfinding Session (RM 460) — a 60-minute individual session resulting in a printed route card and one follow-up message.
• Youth Civic Basics Programme (RM 1,700 per cohort) — a five-week after-school group programme for participants aged 15–19.
• Newcomer Orientation for Employers (RM 4,480) — a six-week B2B orientation programme including handbook, group sessions, and weekly helpdesk.

All Services are delivered in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or Tamil, subject to officer availability at time of booking. Services are available to clients within Malaysia. We do not currently offer remote or international delivery.

Scope limitation: Our Services constitute general information and operational orientation only. They do not constitute legal, immigration, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind.

4. Booking and payment

• Sessions are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
• Payment methods accepted: bank transfer, online banking, or such other methods as notified at the time of booking.
• Prices are as stated on the Website and are inclusive of all materials (printed workbooks, route cards, handbooks, checklists) unless otherwise specified.
• Prices are subject to applicable taxes in force at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

• Cancellation more than 48 hours before a session: full refund or rescheduling at no charge.
• Cancellation within 48 hours of a session: 50% refund. Rescheduling is available once at no charge if requested more than 24 hours before the session.
• No-show (individual session): no refund.
• Youth programme or employer programme: a written cancellation received more than 7 calendar days before the programme start date entitles the client to a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the start date are subject to a 25% administration fee. Once a programme has commenced, no refund applies to completed sessions.
• Wayfinder Nook reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to circumstances outside our control (illness, emergency, facility unavailability). In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

6. User responsibilities

By using our Services you agree to:

• Provide accurate information at the time of booking and during sessions.
• Arrive on time for booked sessions. Sessions cannot be extended past the scheduled end time due to late arrival.
• Treat Wayfinder Nook staff with respect. We reserve the right to end a session without refund if a participant behaves in an abusive or disruptive manner.
• Not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent from Wayfinder Nook.
• Not misrepresent our Services or route card outputs as professional legal, immigration, or financial advice.

7. Intellectual property

All materials produced by Wayfinder Nook — including route cards, workbooks, handbooks, and checklists — are the intellectual property of Wayfinder Nook and are licensed to the individual client for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or resell any materials without our prior written consent. Website content, design, and text are similarly protected.

8. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided on an "as available" basis. While we take care to ensure that information in route cards and programme materials is current and accurate, public service processes and requirements change. We make no representation that any information provided will remain accurate after the date of your session. We accept no responsibility for outcomes at public counters or offices.

Our Services do not constitute legal, immigration, medical, or financial advice. If your situation requires any of those, you must consult an appropriately qualified professional.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Wayfinder Nook's liability for any claim arising from our Services is limited to the amount paid for the specific session or programme in relation to which the claim arises. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including lost time, missed appointments, or administrative delays resulting from reliance on our guidance.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wayfinder Nook and its officers from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of our Services, your breach of these terms, or your reliance on our guidance for purposes that fall outside our stated scope.

11. Termination

We may decline to deliver a Service or refuse future bookings from any individual or organisation that has breached these terms, behaved abusively toward our staff, or provided materially false information at the time of booking. Where a session has not yet taken place, a refund will be issued in line with the cancellation policy above.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms or our Services shall first be referred to informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. If the matter cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with Selangor as the preferred venue.

13. General provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Wayfinder Nook for use of our Website and Services.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right under these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a business reorganisation or transfer.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Website or booking of Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
