Our Sessions & Programmes

Three trails. Each one built for a different starting point.

Individual sessions, youth programmes, and employer orientation — each structured differently but built on the same approach.

01 Our Methodology

How every session is structured

Every session at Wayfinder Nook follows the same underlying structure, regardless of whether you're an individual with a document renewal question or a company onboarding twenty new staff members. We begin by understanding the situation, then map the relevant steps, then produce written output the client can keep and use.

The approach was developed by our Centre Director, Nurul Rashidah, drawing on more than a decade of working in community services in Selangor. It has been refined over three years of operating sessions with residents from across the Klang Valley.

1

Intake and situation mapping

The officer establishes what the client needs to accomplish, what they already know, and what's been tried or encountered so far.

2

Step planning

The relevant steps, documents, offices, and timelines are worked through together — in the client's preferred language.

3

Written output

A route card, workbook, or handbook is produced at the end of the session for the client to take away.

4

Follow-up

Individual clients receive one follow-up message. Programme participants have access to a scheduled helpdesk throughout the programme period.

02 Session 1 of 3

One-to-One Wayfinding Session

60 minutes · Individual · RM 460

A focused 60-minute conversation with an information officer to map out exactly where to go and what to bring for a specific everyday need. Whether you're renewing a document at a federal office, registering for a local programme, understanding a notice you received, or finding the right public counter for your situation — the session ends with a printed step-by-step route card and one follow-up message for when you set off.

  • Situation-specific — covers your exact need, not a generic process
  • Printed route card included, listing steps in the order you need to follow them
  • One follow-up message included after the session
  • Available in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or Tamil
  • General information and orientation only — no legal or immigration advice

How the session unfolds:

A

Officer introduces scope and confirms the situation to be addressed.

B

Steps, documents, offices, and expected timelines are mapped together.

C

Route card is printed. Any questions about the card are addressed.

D

One follow-up message channel is confirmed for use after the visit.
